Gigi Hunter, MSN, RN, is a seasoned maternal and child health leader with over 32 years of nursing experience spanning bedside care, clinical education, program development, and executive operations. Her career has been dedicated to improving outcomes for women, infants, and families across diverse care settings, including labor and delivery, neonatal and high-risk obstetrics, home health, reproductive medicine, Medicaid managed care, and large-scale health system leadership.
Gigi brings deep expertise in maternal health innovation, care coordination, and operational excellence, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing clinical teams. She has successfully overseen complex clinic operations, managed multidisciplinary staff, and partnered closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and community organizations to close gaps in maternal care and reduce health disparities.
In her current role at Delfina, Gigi serves as the Clinical Nurse Manager for Patient Services, where she leads the design and implementation of patient-facing clinical programs, including virtual maternal support models and doula services. She is passionate about leveraging technology, data, and compassionate care to standardize access to high-quality maternal support—ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
