We are deeply saddened by the anticipated impact of this decision on women’s health, particularly for the most vulnerable patients. Abortion is an essential healthcare service. The Supreme Court decision today is detrimental to the health of the pregnant people we serve at Delfina. Pregnant patients deserve better.

To our healthcare provider partners: we will support you in advocating for your patients’ lives and in providing the highest quality of care to your patients, including abortion services. We support the ACOG position that abortion is an essential healthcare service that should be available to all patients and provided by medically qualified practitioners in safe environments. We also believe in data, which historically indicates that restrictions on abortion services correlate with increases in maternal morbidity and mortality.
